Current transformer circuit
configuration with WLT 6/1
and WTD 6/1
Normal operation
Current transformers must not be
operated with an open circuit on the
secondary side. This must be taken into
account when changing measuring
instruments or for comparative
measurements with external instruments.
With the WTL 6/1 sliding-link terminal and
WTD 6/1 feed-through terminal, diverse
circuit configurations can be achieved
quickly and clearly.

Changing measuring instrument
1. Short-circuit the transformer with the
QVS cross connect slide link (the
disconnect slide link remains closed).
2. Change the measuring instrument.
Current measurement with external
ammeter
1. Connect a comparison instrument
(plug test plug into StB 14 [item 8] and
StB 35 [item 7]).
2. Open the disconnect slide link.
