The integrated tiling flange should be overlapped with the wall finish (2). Seal the joint between the bathtub and the wall finish with silicone (3). Fig. 13.1,13.2,13.3. Lean level against bathtub, making sure it is level, and trace a vertical line down to the floor (Fig. 16.1). On the floor, trace a line perpendicular to the line on the wall 3/8" towards the outside. (Fig. 16.1) Align the apron extensions with the vertical line; push the extensions towards the outside of the bathtub up to the 3/8" line.

If no structure is available to screw in the hookeye, install a board on each side of the existing structure to set the hookeye at the specified height (16"). This distance is a recommended measurement. It is possible that in the case of an existing bathtub, the location of the hookeye could vary by ±1" in relation to requested height and distance.
Stretch the elastics and attach them to the apron hookeyes. The elastic can be adjusted using the adjustable hook (shrink or extend the elastic as needed).
