Introducing the Macally FM Transmitter Thank you for purchasing POD-FM, the Full Channel Auto & Home FM Transmitter for iPod. The Macally FM transmitter for the iPod can play your music through any FM radio in your car or at home. Installation Instruction 1a. Connect the FM Transmitter to USB plug on the Car Adapter/Holder. Then plug Car Adapter/Holder into Cigarette Lighter Jack in the car.
1b. Or connect the FM Transmitter to AC Adapter, then plug AC adapter to power outlet. AC Power Outlet USB Plug * Note: When the Power supply is connected, the show on LCD Digital Display.
2. Connect the iPod, MP3 or CD Player to Digital Transmitter with the retractable audio cable. To iPod or Audio Player 3.5mm Headphone Jack Using the Digital FM Transmitter 1 Press Power Button to turn on the Digital Transmitter. The LCD Digital Display will flash “LINK” letter for 3-5 seconds.
2. The LCD Digital Display shows the pre-set radio frequency channel (For example, 88.0MHz). If the character display is not clear in the car, please loosen the Holder Joint in the Car Adapter/Holder and position the FM Transmitter until you can see the character display clearly, then tighten the Holder Joint again. 3. Turn on your radio and switch to FM channel, adjust the radio frequency channel to desired channel. Now the radio will output as “zzz” sound or radio music now. 4.
5. Adjust the volume in your radio until the satisfactory output is reached. 6. When interference occurs, the music from radio will not sound clear. In this case, please switch to different channels by repeating Step 3 and 4 until the music sound quality is clear again. Adjustment of Radio Frequency Channels: 1. Press Power Button to turn on the FM Transmitter 2. Adjust the FM frequency channels: (Radio frequency channels adjustment range is 88MHz~108MHz.
Important Notice • • • This product should be kept in dry condition and away from water. Keep the product off direct sunlight or high temperature environment. Please unplug the power plug when it is not in use. Troubleshooting 1) If the Digital FM Transmitter does not function normally, • Please check whether all wires/ cables being connected tight and correct. • If the product cannot be powered on, check whether the AC adapter works and connects properly.
