3.2 Installation
3.2.1 General Wiring Information
WARNING
This equipment helps monitor for the presence and concentration level of certain specified airborne
gases. Misuse may produce an inaccurate reading, which means that higher levels of the gas being
monitored may be present and could result in overexposure. For proper use, see supervisor or User
manual, or call Macurco Technical Service at 1-844-325-3050.
Field wiring is completed via modular connectors (provided), except for the safety ground, AC power, and relays. After wiring,
simply plug the modular connectors into the matching connectors on the printed circuit board (PCB).

Note: It is recommended to always install with wires enclosed within the rigid metallic conduit.
The power to the remotely mounted sensors should be size AWG18 (minimum) for short runs. Refer to Table 3-1 for
recommended wire gauges.
