1.4 The MADRIX KEY
USB Software Protection Dongle
You can download MADRIX at http://www.madrix.com for free. But a full
license requires a special USB software protection key, which is used for the software
protection. It is a copy and license management system, which is encoded based on hardware.
Without this MADRIX KEY, the demo mode will be activated.
In demo mode MADRIX sends DMX512, Art-Net, DVI, KiNet, T9, Insta and ROBE
protocol data even without the MADRIX KEY (USB dongle) for 1 hour, always
interrupting transmission after one minute for a short duration.
