Using The Software 150

Variety Of Effects

MADRIX offers a large variety of effects as you can see from the list in the screenshot.

They are arranged into four categories: Static Color Effects (SCE), Sound2Light Effects (S2L),

Music2Light Effects (M2L) and the MAS Script Effect. These categories and their effects are

explained in detail in the chapter MADRIX Effects.

Configuration Of Effects & Layers

Effect Area A and B provide a number of buttons and controls to configure your effects. Please

have a look at the chapter Effect Areas A & B to learn more.

Moreover, you can choose one effect per layer from the drop-down lists. Working with Layers is

described in the next chapter.

Using Several Effects And Saving Effects

The selected effect will be automatically saved in the selected Storage Place. MADRIX offers 60

Storage Places in each Storage Area. Hence, you will be able to create a lot of effects and storing

is automatically handled by the software. Learn more in the chapter Storage Places, Submaster,

and Cue. Please note that Storage Places on the other hand are saved in MADRIX setup files.
