Buy one of the latest sound cards with high quality.

In order to make sure that your sound card works properly, we suggest testing it with

MADRIX:

Start the MADRIX demo version.

Activate the sound analysis via the Audio button while playing some music on your PC, for

example.

Open the Task Watcher (Menu "Tools" -> "Task Watcher" or press "F5").

Check the entries "Audio Capture Frames (Is/Tar.)". The left side shows the current value,

while the right box shows the target value.

1.10 PC Power Management

operating systems offer a wide variety of power management options. In

most cases, PCs, laptops, notebooks, and netbooks benefit from a longer battery life if a good

power management is in use.

But certain problems might occur nevertheless. If after a while your MADRIX KEY cannot be

identified by the software anymore or if your interfaces are suddenly deactivated, we advise:

If such problems occur, we strongly recommend to deactivate all power options in Windows

in order to guaranty an interruption-free operation of MADRIX.

You can access the 'Power Options' of Windows

in the 'Control Panel'.

Navigate to "Change power-saving settings".
