OPERA
TION: Large end of battery spring must be snapped into tailcap.
Always install batteries with the “+” end facing the head end of the
flashlight and the “-” end facing the tailcap end of the flashlight.
Warning: batteries must be inserted correctly. Failure to do so could
cause permanent damage to the LED module. Switch - Push button
switch, 3 position, on-off and signal.(Manual, momentary on-off). Flood to
Spot - Rotate head of flashlight to adjust from a wide flood beam to an
intense spotlight.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1. Flashlight failure - Check the batteries. If they are
exhausted, replace. 2. Flashlight does not turn on or stay on - Check the
tailcap. The metal surfaces contacting the barrel, tailcap and spring assembly
should be shiny metal without obstruction between them. Any corrosion
formed by a foreign substance should be carefully removed. 3. If all of the
above steps have been followed and the flashlight still does not per

INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE:
For prolonged life and efficiency, it is
necessary periodically to inspect and perform preventative maintenance on
your flashlight as follows: 1. Inspection - Any batter
y may leak caustic
solutions or gases which can corrode the inside of your flashlight. You should
remove the batteries at least once a month and visually inspect the inside of
the flashlight for signs of cor

osion. If cor

osion is seen, follow the
instructions in the How and When to Make a Warranty Claim section. 2.
Separate Storage of Batteries - If your flashlight is used infr
equently
, e.g.,
once a month or less, it is r
ecommended to r
emove the batteries and store
them separately. This helps guard against corrosion and may also prolong
batter
y life.
3. Maintenance - Place a small amount of petr
oleum jelly on all
threads and rubber O-rings every six months.

ANNAGE: 1. Dysfonctionnement de la torche : Vérifiez les piles. Si
elles sont usées, remplacez-les. 2. La torche ne s’allume pas ou ne reste pas
allumée - Vérifier le capuchon à vis. Les surfaces métalliques du tube interne,
du capuchon à vis et du ressort doivent être propres et inobstruées. Toute
corrosion créée par un corps étranger doit être nettoyée. 3. Si, après ces

EXAMEN ET ENTRETIEN:
Afin d’augmenter l’efficacité et la durée de vie de la
lampe torche, celle-ci doit être régulièrement examinée et les opérations
d’entretien préventif suivantes doivent être effectuées: 1. Examen - En cas de
fuite des piles, les solutions ou gaz caustiques risquent de corroder l’intérieur
de votre lampe torche. Enlever les piles de la lampe torche au moins une fois
par mois et chercher le moindre signe de corrosion à l’intérieur du tube. En cas
de corrosion, suivre les

Garantie. 2. Rangement des piles à part - En cas d’utilisation peu fréquente
de la lampe torche (une fois par mois ou moins) , il est recommandé d’enlever
les piles et de les ranger séparément. Cela permet d’éviter tout risque de
corrosion et peut également augmenter la durée des piles. 3. Entretien -
Enduire de vaseline les pas de vis et les joints tous les six mois.

BETRIEB:
Größere Seite der Kontaktfeder muß in die Verschlußkappe
einrasten. Batterien immer mit dem “+” Ende gegen den

aschenlampenkopf gerichtet und dem “-” Ende gegen die Endkappe
gerichtet, installieren. Warnung: Die Batterien müssen korrekt eingesetzt
werden. Andernfalls kann es zu dauerhaften Schäden am LED-Modul
kommen. Schalter - die Schalttaste drücken. Sie hat 3 Positionen: Ein, Aus
und Signal (für kur
zzeitiges, manuelles Ein- und Ausschalten).
Umstellen von
Punkt- auf Flutlichtstrahl - Durch Drehen des Taschenlampenkopfes läßt sich
die Taschenlampe von einem breiten Flutstrahl auf einen intensiven Punktstrahl
umstellen.
STÖRUNGSSUCHE:
1. Ausfall der Stablampe:
prüfen Sie die Batterien. Sind
sie leer, bitte austauschen. 2. Taschenlampe läßt sich nicht andrehen bzw.
bleibt nicht an - Endkappe überprüfen. Die Metalloberflächen, die mit dem
Gehäuse, der Endkappe und dem Federsatz Kontakt haben, müssen blank und
ohne Behinderung sein. Eventuelle, durch einen Fremdkörper verursachte
Korrosionsstellen sollten vorsichtig entfernt werden. 3. Sollte die Taschenlampe
trotz Befolgen aller vorgenannten Schritte immer noch nicht richtig
funktionieren, verfahren Sie bitte nach dem Kapitel Modalitäten der
Geltendmachung eines Gewährleistungsanspruches, Hinweise finden Sie
auch im Abschnitt „Customer Service" unter www.maglite.com oder nehmen

Taschenlampe wie folgt regelmäßig zu überprüfen und vorbeugende
Maßnahmen durchzuführen: 1. Überprüfung - aus jeder Batterie können
ätzende Lösungen oder Gase auslaufen, die zur Korrosion der Innenseite Ihrer
Taschenlampe führen können. Die Batterien sollten mindestens einmal im
Monat herausgenommen und die Innenseite Ihrer Taschenlampe visuell auf
Korrosionserscheinungen überprüft werden. Wenn Korrosionsstellen entdeckt
werden, sollten Sie nach dem Kapitel Modalitäten der Geltendmachung eines
Gewährleistungsanspruches verfahren. 2. Getrennte Aufbewahrung der
Batterien - Wenn ihre Taschenlampe selten gebraucht wird, d.h. einmal im
Monat oder seltener, wird empfohlen, die Batterien herauszunehmen und
getrennt aufzubewahren. Diese Maßnahme dient zur Korrosionvorbeugung und
evtl. auch zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer der Batterien. 3. Wartung - Alle
s
echs Monate sämtliche Gewinde und O-Ringe aus Gummi mit etwas Vaseline
bestreichen.

ISTRUZIONI PER L
’USO: La parte grande della molla della batteria deve
essere introdotta saldmente nel cappuccio posteriore. Istallare sempre le
batterie con il segno “+” in dir
ezione della testina e quello “–” in direzione
del tappo posteriore della torcia. Avvertenza: occorre inserire
correttamente le batterie. In caso contrario, il modulo LED potrebbe subire
danni permanenti. Interruttore a pulsante a 3 posizioni: acceso, spento e
segnale. (manuale e acceso-spento momentaneo). Da luce diffusa a luce
concentrata - Rotare la testia della torcia per passare da un fascio di luce diffusa
a uno intenso di luce concentrata.
DIAGNOSTICA:
1. Guasto della torcia – Controllare le batterie. Se sono
scariche, sostituirle. 2. La torcia non si accende o non rimane accesa -
Controllare il tappo posteriore. Le superfici di metallo che toccano il cilindro, il
tappo posteriore e la molla devono essere pulite e a diretto contatto senza
nessun impedimento. Qualunque traccia di corrosione generata da sostanze
estranee deve essere rimossa. 3. Se tutte le istruzioni precedenti sono state
seguite e la torcia continua a non funzionare, seguire le istruzioni contenute nel
capitolo Come e Quando Utilizzare la Garanzia oppure riferirsi alla sezione
Customer Service (Assistenza clienti) nel sito www.maglite.com o contattate il
nostro centro Assistenza/Riparazioni al numero 01 [phone], fax 01 (909)
947-5041.
CONTROLLO E MANUTENZIONE:
Per garantire una durata prolungata e una
perfetta efficienza, è necessario effettuare controlli e manutenzione della torcia
come segue: 1. Controllo - Qualsiasi batteria può perdere soluzioni caustiche o
gas che possono corrodere l’interno della torcia. È necessario rimuovere le
batterie almeno una volta al mese e ispezionare l’interno della torcia per segni di
corrosione. In caso di segni di corrosione, seguire le istruzioni contenute nel
capitolo Come e Quando Utilizzare la Garanzia. 2. Conservare le batterie in
luogo separato - Se la torcia viene usata raramente, diciamo una volta al mese
o meno, raccomandiamo di rimuovere le batterie e conservarle in luogo
separato, in modo da evitare la corrosione e da prolungare la durata delle
batterie. 3. Manutenzione - Ogni sei mesi oliare con un po’ di vaselina le
filettature e le guarnizione di gomma.
