Magellan RoadMate POI Manager Software
The following covers the basics of installing and using the Magellan
RoadMate
POI Manager software. For more information, please refer
to the Reference Manual found on the Documentation CD included
with your
Magellan RoadMate.
Installation
Insert the Magellan RoadMate POI Manager CD into your computer's
CD drive. The installation will begin automatically. Follow the on-
screen instructions
to install the POI Manager software.
Creating Custom POls
To create a POI you must know the latitude and longitude of the
item. This information
can be found by pressing the Locate button
on the Magellan RoadMate at the location you wish to save as a POI.
<tM<iF,l!AK-:.> Click on the Add New POI +button.
A dialog
box will appear, asking you to
enter the latitude, longitude, and
altitude (optional) of the POI.
Next, enter a category name and
then, choose an icon from the pu 11-
down menu.
You can continue adding POls to the
same category or create as many others as you wish.
