Electrical Connection aWARNINGa Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized service center. This refrigerator should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this refrigerator is equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
OPERATING YOUR REFRIGERATOR Temperature Control • Your refrigerator has one control for regulating the temperature. The temperature control is located on the top left hand corner of the refrigerator compartment • The first time you turn the unit on, adjust the temperature control knob to “7” and run for at least 2 hours before putting foods inside. This will ensure the cabinet is thoroughly chilled before food is put in.
Assembling Legs • • Your refrigerator has two leveling legs which are located in the front bottom corners of your refrigerator. After properly placing your refrigerator in its final position, you can level your refrigerator. Leveling legs can be adjusted by turning them clockwise to raise your refrigerator or by turning them counterclockwise to lower your refrigerator. The refrigerator door will close easier when the leveling legs are extended.
Door Reversal Instruction • • • • • • • • • • • • Remove the top hinge cover. Using Phillips Head Screwdriver, loosen and remove the screws holding the top hinge in place. Remove top hinge and carefully lift off the door. Remove the screw hole plugs from the opposite side and insert the plugs in the screw hole openings of the just removed screws. Remove any loose items in the refrigerator and carefully turn refrigerator on its back and place in a secure area.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE Cleaning Your Refrigerator • Upon installation of your new appliance, it is recommended that it be cleaned thoroughly. • Turn off the refrigerator first and then unplug the unit from the wall outlet. • Remove all food content. • Wash the inside with a damp warm cloth soaked in lukewarm water and baking soda solution. The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water. • Be sure to keep the door gasket (seal) clean to keep the unit running efficiently.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE You can solve many common refrigerator problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. OPERAR SU REFRIGERADOR CONTROL DE TEMPERATURA • La unidad tiene un control para regular la temperatura. El control de la temperatura está situado en la esquina superior de la mano derecha del compartimiento interior del refrigerador. • La primera vez que usted gira la unidad, ajuste la perilla del control de la temperatura a "7" y funcione por por lo menos 2 horas antes de poner los alimentos congelados adentro. De esta forma, el gabinete estará suficientemente refrigerado antes de colocar los alimentos.
Montaje de las piernas Su refrigerador tiene dos patas niveladoras que se encuentran en las esquinas inferiores frontales del mismo. Instrucciones para revertir la puerta Quite la cubierta de la bisagra superior. Utilizando un destornillador Phillips, afloje y quite los tornillos que sujetan la bisagra superior en su lugar. Retire la bisagra superior y levante con cuidado la puerta. Retire los tapones de los orificios de los tornillos del lado opuesto e inserte los tapones en los orificios de agujeros de los tornillos que acaba de sacar.
