INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIELD CONVERSION TO LPG GAS Refer to specific instructions for each model range. WARNING: Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can cause property damage, injury or death. Read the installation, operating and maintenance instructions thoroughly before installing or servicing equipment.
7. To operate the appliance with LP gas, the regulator must be changed to operate at 10” WC. To do this, remove the converter cap and pin from the regulator, invert the pin and reinstall it into the cap. Replace the cap on the regulator, ensuring that the gasket is intact and in place on the cap. (See images below.) INSTRUCTION FOR NORMAL OPERATING SEQUENCE The units are equipped with standing pilots and should be lit immediately after the gas is turned on. 1. Turn off the main valve to the unit and wait 5 minutes to clear any gas. 2. Turn off all knobs and pilot valves. 3. Turn on main valve and light all pilots. 4. The pilot burner must be lit at the end of the tube. Hold an ignition source (6” grill lighter) through the opening in the front panel at the pilot tube.

6. Reemplace el quemador deslizando el extremo abierto por el orificio y luego asegure el perno M5 en el soporte angular. 7. Para hacer funcionar el aparato con gas PL, el regulador debe ser cambiado para que funcione a 10” W.C. Para ello, retire la tapa del convertidor y el pasador del regulador, invierta el pasador y vuelva a instalarlo en la tapa. Vuelva a colocar la tapa en el regulador, asegurándose de que el burlete esté intacto y en su lugar en la tapa. (Vea las imágenes a continuación).
3. Ajuste el tornillo de a poco mientras la llama piloto se quema hasta que se alcance una llama estable de ¼”. 4. Vuelva a colocar el panel frontal y asegúrelo con los tornillos. INSTRUCTIONS POUR CONVERSION SUR PLACE AU GAZ GPL Se référer aux instructions spécifiques pour chaque modèle. AVERTISSEMENT: Une mauvaise installation, ajustement, altération, entretien peuvent occasionner des dommages matériels ou corporels et même la mort. Lisez attentivement les instructions d’installation, d’utilisation et d’entretien avant d’installer ou d’entretenir l’équipement.
5. Appliquez le scellant de filets de conduits ou un ruban de teflon pour gaz sur le filetage au bout de la valve pour assurer un sceau à gaz hermétique. Remplacez ensuite le vieil orifice avec le nouvel orifice de l’ensemble de conversion. 6. Remplacez le bruleur en glissant l’ouverture sur l’orifice en le fixant au boulon M5 à travers le trou dans l’équerre de support. 7. Pour utiliser l’appareil avec du gaz de PL, le régulateur doit être remplacé pour fonctionner à 10’’ de colonne d’eau (WC).
3. Ajustez la vis peu à peu jusqu’à ce que la flamme de la veilleuse atteigne une flamme stable de 0.7 cm. 4. Replacez le panneau frontal et fixez-le en le vissant. Replacez les boutons de commandes.
