Splash Guard
DIRECTIONS: FOLLOW CAREFULLY FOR PROPER ADHESION.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Thoroughly clean surfaces of tub and wall with Goo
Gone
®
All-purpose cleaner. Rinse clean with water. Use rubbing alcohol for final
cleaning of surfaces to which splash guard will bond. Dry all surfaces
completely before installing.
APPLICATION: Splash Guard base should be positioned near the center of the
horizontal tub edge. When positioning the Splash Guard on the wall, avoid any
vertical grout lines in tile or seams in tub surround that may prevent proper
adhesion. Remove any excess caulk from tub and wall joint that may also
prevent proper adhesion. Separate the base piece from the Splash Guard.
Remove backing paper from base piece and install centered within the
horizontal edge of the tub and flush against the wall (figure 1). Remove backing
paper from Splash Guard. Align Splash Guard onto the base piece and slide until
flush with the wall (figure 2). To ensure proper adhesion, apply pressure to
vertical edge of the Splash Guard making certain it is flush against the wall.
Shower may be used immediately after installation.

PREPARACIÓN DE LA SUPERFICIE: Limpie a fondo las superficies de la tina y
de la pared con el limpiador multiuso Goo Gone
®
. Enjuague con agua hasta
dejarlos limpios. Use alcohol de frotar para realizar una limpieza final de las
superficies a las que se adherirá el protector contra salpicaduras. Seque todas
las superficies completamente antes de instalar.
APLICACIÓN: La base del Protector debe colocarse cerca del centro de la orilla
horizontal de la bañera. Cuando coloque el Protector en la pared, evite cualquier
línea vertical de lechada en el azulejo o alrededor de la bañera, las cuales
pudieran impedir una adherencia correcta. Quite cualquier exceso existente de
calafateo de la unión de la bañera y la pared que también pudiera impedir la
adherencia correcta. Separe la pieza base del Protector. Retire el papel de
recubrimiento de la pieza base e instale ésta en forma centrada sobre la orilla
horizontal de la bañera y a ras sobre la pared (figura 1). Quite el papel de
recubrimiento del Protector. Alinee el Protector sobre la pieza base y deslícela
hasta que quede a ras de la pared (figura 2). Para asegurar la debida
adherencia, presione sobre la orilla vertical del Protector Guard verificando que
quede a ras de la pared. La ducha puede usarse inmediatamente después de
la colocación.
