(fonctionnement voir “Préparation de la machine”) • Rincez ensuite la verseuse et le porte-filtre à l’eau claire. Comment faire un café filtre ? e Préparation de la machine • Déroulez la longueur de câble qui vous est nécessaire. • Branchez l’appareil sur une prise reliée à la terre.

NB : votre cafetière est équipée d’un système anti-goutte qui vous permet de retirer la verseuse pendant l’écoulement, le temps de vous servir une tasse de café. Si la verseuse n’est pas correctement mise en place ou mise sans couvercle, le porte-filtre risque de déborder.

Dans ce cas, si vous avez un modèle programmable, appuyez sur la touche filtre pour éteindre l’indicateur de changement de filtre. Mise en place du filtre • Retirez la clé de montage du réservoir. • Insérez le filtre à eau dans la clé de montage. • Positionnez le filtre dans le réservoir.

NB : Tant que l’heure n’est pas réglée, l’affichage clignote. Réglage de la mise en marche automatique • Appuyez sur la touche (prog).
4/06/07 16:09 Page 9 Version isotherme • Avant de préparer votre café, nous vous conseillons de rincer votre pot isotherme à l’eau chaude pour optimiser ses performances. • Fermez le couvercle : vissez-le dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’en butée. Ne pas trop serrer le couvercle. La verseuse doit toujours être bien positionnée avec le couvercle fermé sinon le système anti-goutte ne pourra pas fonctionner correctement et le café débordera du porte-filtre.

N’utilisez pas d’alcool, de solvant ou de produits de nettoyage agressifs. Nettoyage • Le corps de l’appareil : de temps en temps, nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chiffon humide. • La verseuse : après chaque utilisation, videz et nettoyez-la avec un liquide vaisselle non abrasif. La verseuse isotherme : ne la plongez jamais complètement dans l’eau chaude.

Versez le café chaud dans le mélange et remuez. Répartissez dans 4 tasses et déposez éventuellement une cuillère de crème fouettée.

Lassi au café Pour 2 personnes • 35 cl de café froid • 35 cl de yaourt nature brassé • 4 c. s. de sucre • Cannelle Mixez le café, le yaourt et le sucre dans un robot jusqu’à l’obtention d’un mélange crémeux.

Répartissez le café chaud dans les verres. Ajoutez le whiskey. Enfin versez délicatement la crème fraîche au-dessus des verres en la laissant descendre sur le dos d’une grande cuillère, de façon à ne pas mélanger le café et la crème.

Si vous utilisez une rallonge, celle-ci doit être avec prise de terre. • N’utilisez jamais l’appareil avec un câble d’alimentation endommagé.

Filterkoffie zetten Het apparaat voorbereiden r MAX • Vul het waterreservoir met koud water met behulp van de schenkkan.

NB : Uw koffiezetapparaat is voorzien van een druppelstop, waardoor u de schenkkan tijdens het filteren van het apparaat kunt nemen om een kop koffie in te schenken. Als de schenkkan niet goed op zijn plaats is gezet of zonder deksel is neergezet, bestaat het gevaar dat de filterhouder overstroomt.
La Cafetière FR-NL-AN 4/06/07 16:10 Page 21 Waterfilter Het waterfilter van uw koffiezetapparaat verwijdert een groot deel van de in het kraanwater aanwezige chloor en andere onzuiverheden. NB : als u flessenwater gebruikt, heeft het gebruik van het filter geen zin. Als u een programmeerbaar model hebt, drukt u in dit geval op de filterknop om de filterverwisselingsindicator uit te schakelen. Het filter inzetten • Neem de filtersleutel uit het reservoir. • Plaats het filter in het reservoir.
La Cafetière FR-NL-AN 4/06/07 16:10 Page 22 Programmeerbare uitvoering De tijd instellen • Druk de urenknop (h) in en houd deze ingedrukt totdat het gewenste uur verschijnt. • Druk de minutenknop (m) in en houd deze ingedrukt totdat u de gewenste instelling hebt. NB : Zolang de tijd niet is ingesteld, knippert de display. De automatische start instellen • Druk de programmeerknop (prog) in.
4/06/07 16:11 Page 23 Isotherme uitvoering • Voordat u koffie gaat zetten, raden wij u aan uw isotherme kan met warm water om te spoelen, om te zorgen dat de koffie zo warm mogelijk blijft. • Sluit het deksel: draai het in de richting van de wijzers van de klok tot aan de aanslag. Draai het deksel niet te vast. De schenkkan moet altijd goed op zijn plaats gezet worden met gesloten deksel anders kan de druppelstop niet goed werken en stroomt de filterhouder over.

Gebruik geen alcohol, oplosmiddelen of bijtende reinigingsproducten. Schoonmaken • De buitenkant van het apparaat: maak de buitenkant van het apparaat van tijd tot tijd schoon met een vochtige doek. • De schenkkan: na elk gebruik legen en afwassen met een niet-bijtend afwasmiddel.

La Cafetière FR-NL-AN 4/06/07 16:11 Page 26 Recepten Recepten op basis van warme koffie, zonder alcohol Mexicaanse koffie Voor 4 personen • 50 cl sterke koffie • 10 cl room • 2 eetlepels gesmolten chocolade • 2 eetlepels suiker • muskaat, kaneel Klop de room met de gesmolten chocolade, de suiker, 1 snufje kaneel en een snufje muskaat. Giet de warme koffie op het mengsel. Goed roeren. Over 4 kopjes verdelen en eventueel garneren met een lepel opgeklopte slagroom.

Koffie-lassi Voor 2 personen • 35 cl koude koffie • 35 cl Bulgaarse yoghurt • 4 eetlepels suiker • Kaneel Nederlands Mix de koffie, de yoghurt en de suiker in een mixer tot een romig mengsel. Met kaneel bestrooien en serveren.

Verdeel de warme koffie over de glazen. Voeg de whisky toe. Giet tot slot voorzichtig de verse room bovenop de koffie door deze over de rug van een grote lepel te laten lopen, opdat de room zich niet met de koffie vermengt.

How to make filter coffee Preparing the machine • Unwind the power cord to the length you require. • Plug your machine into an earthed socket. • Check that the filter holder is properly slotted into place. • Put a paper filter (1x4 or n°.4) in the filter holder.

NB : Your coffeemaker is fitted with an anti-drip system which means you can remove the carafe and pour yourself a cup while the coffee is still brewing. If the carafe is incorrectly positioned, or if its lid is missing, the filter holder may overflow. • Switch on your appliance by pressing the button. The red indicator light will come on and the water will start to flow within a few seconds.

NB : If you are using bottled water, there is no need to use the filter. In this case, if you have a programmable model, press the filter button to switch off the filter change indicator. Fitting the filter • Remove the filter key from the tank. • Insert the water filter into the key.

4/06/07 16:13 Page 37 Thermos version • Before brewing your coffee, we recommend that you rinse your thermos carafe out with hot water for optimum results. • Close the lid, screwing it in a clockwise direction as far as it will go. Do not screw the lid too far. The spout must always be correctly positioned with the lid closed, otherwise the anti-drip system will not work properly and the filter holder will overflow. • To pour the coffee, turn the lid until the dot on the lid is aligned with the spout.

Add the hot coffee and stir. Pour into 4 cups – you can add a spoonful of whipped cream to each.

Coffee lassi Serves 2 • 350 ml cold coffee • 350 ml thick creamy yoghurt • 4 tbsp sugar • Cinnamon Blend the coffee, yoghurt and sugar in a food processor until the mixture is creamy. Pour the hot coffee into the glasses and add the whiskey. Gently pour some cream onto the surface, down the back of a tablespoon to prevent it sinking into the coffee.

If you use an extension lead, this must be earthed. • Never use the appliance if the power cord has been damaged.
