7. Systems settings
7.1. System menu
The camera must be connected to the TV to match the system settings with
those of the video camera. See also section 6.3. “Connection to TV”.
Press and hold the Enter key until the system menu is displayed.
Within the menu, a setting is selected or a submenu is terminated by
pressing the Enter button . The On/O button is used to move up
and the LED light button to move down in the menu. Keeping the
depressed will save the existing settings and end the system menu.
The following setting options are available from the system menu:
• Quality:Fine*/Standard/Economy
Dierent video recording qualities are available. When setting the quality it
must be observed that a higher quality will also require more storage space.
• MDCap.Time:10Sec*/1Min/5Min/10Min
When recording videos with motion detection, videos of dierent lengths
can be recorded.
• MDAutoDel.:On/O*
This option determines whether video recordings with motion detection are
to be recorded in a loop. As soon as the memory card is full in the movement
detection mode, the camera commences automatic deletion of older les in
order to create space for new recordings.
If this function is switched o, the camera is switched o as soon as the
memory card is full.
Note:
• ForrecordingvideosinHDquality,microSDHCmemorycardsofclass6or
higher should be used in order to avoid problems during recording.
