Options for automatic pitch correction
Root: The basic tone of the scale. In the chromatic
scale this setting is still not taken into account.
Scale: The type of musical key, i.e. the mode.
Tune Pitch Progression: Performs quantization (alignment) of the marked slices in
the pitch progression.
Quantization Smoothing controls the "strength" of the quantization. The lower the
value, the harder the quantization. This results in the disappearance of repeated small
pitch alternations in natural sound sources, for example, Vibrato ("Cher effect").
Reset: Resets the selected slices. The orange curve is superimposed over the grey
curve and the slice is reset to the original medium pitch.
Chord: Here you can set the chord that makes up
the parallel voices of the Harmonizer. A
distinction is made between major and minor. The
settings of the keyboard are taken into account
unless the option lead voice has been activated.
Humanize: At a low setting this causes strong quantization of the parallel voices. This
makes the effect sound very artificial. If you select a very high humanize value, the
pitches of the individual voices will vary and the cue will be shifted. This gives the
impression of an amateur ensemble.
Harmonic adjustment: Parallel voices are usually generated by taking the keyboard
and humanize settings into account. However, if this option is deactivated, then the
voices are always kept exactly parallel to the orange curve.
Create Voices: This button generates voices.
Playback control
Play: Stops and starts playback of the arrangement.
Play solo: Only the object loaded into the Editor is played back.
Bypass: Switches the effect on or off.
