Project status
This dialog displays various, project specific information such as name, path, the
number of ranges as well as marker changes, and time of creation, number of objects
count and file size.
You will also find a list of all audio files used in the project.
Keyboard shortcut: Alt + I
CD arrange mode
If you activate this menu feature, Samplitude Music Studio 2013 will arrange the next
objects introducing a Red Book-standard pause between them.
The following procedure highly recommended:
• Open a new VIP with 4 tracks (for example), so that you may reedit it later on
• Activate the "Special CD arrange" mode in the CD menu
• Load wave files, audio tracks, or make a recording using the microphone
You will notice gaps in the VIP between the individual objects; these represent the
inserted breaks. You can adjust the length of the included pauses in the adjust pause
length dialog, if you want.
Destructive wave edit mode
Wave projects can be edited destructively as well as virtually. Please also read the
corresponding descriptions in the first chapter of the handbook. You can select the
desired editing method from the list.

System / Audio
This menu item opens the system/options (view page 449) dialog where most
general project settings can be made for Samplitude Music Studio 2013.
Keyboard shortcut: Y
Varispeed and Scrub Settings
This dialog enables tempo changes for virtual project playback to be made. Right click
the scrub control button in the transport controls.
Sample rate: The preset project sample rate is displayed here. To change this value, a
request window will appear to adapt all audio objects to the new sample rate as
needed. This adjustment may also be made by moving or resampling the audio
material. MIDI objects may also be adapted to the new sample rate. These may also
be moved, but the musical position will remain the same.
