EXTRACTOR HANDLE INSTALLATION Skip Step 1 if the mounting brackets are already installed. 1. Position each of the bottom mounting brackets (A) as illustrated in Figure 3. Fasten with the 5/16” x 1-1/2” long hex head cap screw (B) and one 5/16” washer (C) on the outside through the uppermost slot. Secure with the 5/16” lock nut (D) on the inside. (Note: Do not fully tighten until the final handle adjustment is done.) 2.

5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the other side of the hand truck. 6. Making sure that the leg is trapped in the corner of the mounting bracket and the side rail as stated in Steps 3 and 4, align and slide each of the retaining clips down onto the legs of the springs so that 1/2” of the spring legs are behind the retaining clips as shown in figure 5. 7. Tighten the mounting bracket lock nuts on both sides. 8. Make sure the extractor handle springs back into position after use with a gradual movement.
