36V Battery Pack – Bat
tery Change Instructions

1. Remove battery pack from machine and set on hard level surface with clear cover facing up.
2. Remove the four corner screws that hold the clear cover on, and slide the cover off.
3. Remove the four screws that hold the battery
pack end cap OPPOSITE battery box
connector bracket, and set it aside.
4. Remove the white spade terminals from each
of the 3 batteries, and then slide them out.
5. Slide in the new batteries, terminals facing the
battery box connector bracket, and connect them exactly as they were originally connected.
6. Reassemble side cover. Remember to put back the foam spacer between the end cap and last
battery.
7. Slide on clear cover, and reattach to battery box. BE VERY CARFUL NOT TO OVERTIGHTEN THE
4 CORNER SCREWS. IF YOU OVERTIGHTEN THEM, THE COVER COULD CRACK.
8. Dispose of your dead batteries properly by
taking them to any store or garage that sells
batteries. They are required to take them back for recycling at no charge to you.
