“The Transpuls 1500 sounds like it looks: large, broad and
strong. The huge woofer really gets down to business and
sounds extremely powerful, even when operated at very high
volume. This is where the extraordinary large surface area of
the cone comes into play, as it propels powerful levels into the
room with very little travel. This speaker excels with a first-class
dynamic performance that results in an absolutely superb bass
response.”
“Everything generated by the Transpuls is transferred to the
room via the bale. The same can be said for the two bass
reflex tubes, which are commendably right where they belong,
i.e. facing forwards. Magnat has not given into the usual
compulsion of rear-facing ventilation openings. Bravo; this is
highly worthy of praise!”
