No Power
• Check the TV power cord. Unp]ug the T_ wait 1(}seconds,
then reinsert the plug into file outlet and push file POWER
button again.
• Check that file outlet is MOton a wall switch.
• Be sure the fuse is not blown on the AC power strip, if one is
beklg used.
No Picture
• Check antenna cennections. Are they properly securedto the
TV's ANT 75Q plug?
• Check the TUNER MODE contro] for the cc_rect ttmer set-
ring.
• Try rLuming file Auto Pmg_un feature t_ find aU available
charnels.
• Press the AV button on the remote to make sure the correct
signal amree is se]ected (FRONT or Current Chtumel).
No Sound
• Check the VOLUME buttons.
• Check the b,_TE button on the remote control.
• It"you're attempting to hook up auxiliary equipment, check
the audio jack coralections ]dented on the _ont of the T_
Remote Does Not Work
• Check the batteries. K necessary, replace them with AA
Heavy Duty (Zinc Chloride) or Alkaline batteries.
Remote Does Not Work Continued
• Clean the re_llo_ con_x.)] alld tie remote contro] sensor win-
dow on the T_
• Check the TV power cord. Unplug the T%r, wait 10 seconds,
then reinsert the p]ug into rite outlet *utd push the POWER
button again.
• Be sure the fuse is not blown on file AC power strip, if one is

• Check to be sure file TV outlet is not on a wall switch.
TV Displays Wrong Channel or No Channels Above I 3
• Repeat channel se]ection.
• Add file desired charnel numbers (using the CI-tANNEL
EDIT control) into file TV's memory.
• Check to be sure file TUNER MODES are set t_ the CABLE
option and n_l the Auto Program feature to find 'all available
cheumels.
TV Displays white lines in lett_rbox when viewing a
DVD dls¢
• Some DVD Discs are encoded wifll as much as 30% more
video information to give file best tx_ssib]e picture quality.
With the DVD Player in the 16:9 picture format_ the play-
back of fllis type of disc with extra video information, can
produce a number of small white lines in file upper portion
of file black ]etterbox area. Wifll some of fllese discs, tiffs sit-
uation is unavoidable and it does not rexluire a service call
