- Analogoutput(CD&CD-R)
WeadviseyoutoconnectthesetotheTAPEorCD-Rinputon
youramplifier.
Forexternalrecordingthefollowinginputsarepresent:
- Digitalopticalinput
- Digitalcoaxialinput
- Analoginput(stereo)
Theconnectionsyoumakewilldependuponthepossibilities
youraudioequipmentoffers.Pleaserefertotheusermanuals
foryourotheraudioequipmentfirst.
Digitalrecordings(opticalor coaxial) givethe best
performancein audioand usability(e.g. auto-track).
(Thedigital opticalconnectionis lesssensitiveto external
disturbances).
If yourequipmentdoesnotoffer digital connections,the high
qualityAnalog-Digital-Convertorof yoursetwill ensurevery
goodaudioperformancewhen recordingsaremadefromthe
analoginput.
Playbackvia the digital coaxialoutputof the CDrecorder
givesthe bestaudioperformance.
If yourequipmentdoesnotoffer digital connections,the high
qualityDigital-Analog-Convertorof the setensuresa very
goodsoundqualityvia the analogoutput.
Weadviseyou to alwaysestablishbothdigital andanalog
connections.In thisway youcanalwaysmakeanalog
recordingswhendigital recordingis not possible.
We havedescribedthe mostcommonwaysof connectingthe
CDrecorder.If youstill havedifficulties with the connections
youcan alwayscontactthe PhilipsConsumerServicedeskin
yourcountry.
Thisconnectionmustbe madefor playbackonthe CD
recorderdeckas weft as the CDchangerdeck(cord2).
Cord1is only requiredif you want tomakerecordingsfrom
anexternalanalogsource.
