• Checkvolumeonthe player
• Disconnectheadphonewhennot using
headphone.
• Makesureyouoperatethe TVor amplifier
correctly.
• MakesureyouhaveselectedDVDplayer
positiononthe amplifier.
• Thepowercircuit inyour playeris
designedwith a powershutdownmode.
Thisis activatedonlyduringbattery
power operationof the playerwhen
the batterybecomescompletely
drained.When this happens:
No picture
• Checkif the playeris connectedsecurely.
• Makesureyouoperatethe TVcorrectly.
• Makesureyousetthe colorsystem
correctly.
Badsoundquality
• Makesurethe audiooutputmodeis set
correctly.
• Makesureyou did notconnectanycables
fromthe DVDplayerto a Stereo's
"PHONOIN" jack.
• Makesureyou did notconnectthe play-
er'sCOAXIALdigital audiooutjackto an
analogjackonthe Stereo.(Analogaudio
jacksare usuallylabeledas suchandare
usuallyredandwhite. Coaxialjacksare
usuallyblack.)
Disc cannotplay
• Checkyou haveloadeda discin the player
if empty.
• Checkyou haveloadeda discproperly
with the labelsideup.
• Discdirty/damaged.Cleanthe disc.

insteadof at awide angleat the infrared
sensoronthe player.
• Batterymaybeexhausted.Replacethe
batterywith a new one.
