Product Features Ventilation There should be at least 10cm space between the top, rear and sides of the TV. Installation Locate the receiver in the room where direct light does not strike the screen. To Prepare Remote Control Handset Battery Installation Notes about using handset: The remote control unit uses two AA batteries. For battery installation and replacement, read the following. 1. When the handset will not be used for a long period of time or when the batteries are discharged, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. 1. Turn the remote control unit upside down. Using [V+] or [V-] change Program Number. C. Using [P+] or [P-] key, select “FINE TUNE”. D. Using [V+] or [V-] key, adjust for best tuning. Skip FUNCTION: Use to “SKIP” Channels. After setting to “ON”, the channel will not be selected by Channel Up/Down keys.
Normal Operation 1. Power ON /OFF Firstly, the power supply of the unit must be switched at the power switch on the television set. This status is called Stand-By mode. While in standby mode, the TV can be turned on/off via the remote control by pressing the ON/ OFF button or alternatively the [P+]/[P-] keys on the TV set. 2. Menu Operation Picture Menu Function: Brightness, Contrast, Colour Sharpness, Tint. A. Press [MENU] key on TV set or press [MENU 1] key on remote control, MENU appears on screen. Select “PICTURE”. B. Select each function using the [P+]/[P-] keys. C. Each value can be controlled by the [V+]/[V-] keys. D. Repeat any functions if required. Note: TINT control will be appeared only if a NTSC signal is being received. Setup NB: altering the blue back will change settings on all positions. A.
Menu Operation Clock Function Time and Timer setting. A. Press [MENU] key on front or press [MENU 1] key on remote control, MENU appears on screen. Select “CLOCK”. B. TIME (TIME, TIMER, OFF-TIME, ON-TIME) setting: Using the [V -] key, hours will increase from “0, 1... 23,24”. Using the [V+] key, minutes will increase from “00” to “59”. C. TIME: Using the [V+][V -] key, will change “TIME”. D. TIMER - Generally, if “ON-TIME” or “ OFF-TIME” is not set, “TIMER” will not be set.
