Step 4: Selecting speaker
layout Normally the best sound spot and the ideal
setting position is in the middle of the room
With th s 'SEATING' feature, it allows you to
select the current seating posit on in the room
and the speaker setting will automatically be
adjusted for oplmum pel#ormance.

@ In disc mode, press SYSTEM MENU
Use the joystick (41 V) on the -emote to
nay sate in the menu
Hove to 'Speaker Layout' and press
Select the }syout tha* most dosey resemb es
your speakers' arrangemeht, then press OK
@ The speal<er output wll adjust autoTqatically
to suit the selected speaker layout sett ngs based
on the seaqng position n the middle To change
the seating position, see "Changing seating
control position"
@ If you choose 'Personal,' the speaker output
will fuow the settings in the 'Speakers' men
(See next page "Setting the speakers'

Press SURR. (or SURROUND on the front
pane) repea_ed}7 to select 'Plulti-channer
Press SEATING
@ The seating control diagram which
represents your current speaker layout appears
on theTV scroen To change the speal<er layout,
see "Selecting speaker layout,"
Use the joystick (_ V) on the remote (or
VOLUME control on the f'-ont panel) to select
your currer,t seating position
During playback, yo can hear the changng
of sound effect when you change the seating
position
If you do not press any buttons within five
seconds, the seat ng coptro diagram will exit
f'-om theTV and the system will execute the last
selected seating position
Iflyou wapt to remove the seating control
feature, press SEATING twice
@ "F_F_Of_'RL SET Tfk'b" appears and the
system wll revert to the personal speaker
settings
To remove the menu
