VHS Hi-Fi stereo sound system
our VCR (Video Cassette Recorder) has a new VHS Hi-Fi stereo sound system with several impruvcmcnts. When an
MTS (Multi-Channel Television Sound) program is broadcast in stereo, it can be recorded in stereo Hi-Fi. Just be sure
the settings shown in the AUDIO OUT and TUNER SET UP menus are displayed like those below. With these settings, you
can record and playback stereo programs in Hi-Fi audio. You must use your remote control.
Hi-Fi Recording and Playback of MTS
When recording or playing an MTS broadcast, be sure the selections below have been made.

AUDIO OUT Menu
_- Normally, "HIFI" should be selected from the
"AUDIO OUT" menu for playback with Hi-Fi sound
so that "Hi-Fi" appears on the status display. But, you
can change the selection to "MONO" to the normal audio
playback. "Hi-Fi" disappears on the status display.
