Video cassette ejects when the OTR or REC(0rd)
button is pressed or the POWER button is pressed
OFF to set the Timer...
In the Stop mode, the motor (CYLINDER _continues
to rotate...
• Aim the remote control directly atthe remote
sensor on the VCR (E 8 & 14).
• Avoid all obstacles which may interfere with the
signal path.
• Inspect or replace the batteries (E 5).
• Make sure batteries are inserted correctly (E 5).
Correction
• Set the VCR/TV selector to "TV" (P. 12 or 14).
• Check VCR hook ups (R 6-7 or 34-37).
• Insert the cassette with the window side up and the
record tab facing you.
• Make sure a cassette tape is not already inserted.
Press STOP/EJECT button on VCR.
• Check that the power plug is completely connected
to a standard AC household outlet.
• Check the cassette to be sure that the record tab on
the back of the cassette is still intact (E 5).
• To enable quick play mechanism the cylinder will
rotate for about 5 minutes. This is normal.
