In the Stop mode, the motor (CYLINDER _continues
to rotate...
Aim the remote control directly atthe remote
sensor on the VCR (E 8 & 14).
Avoid all obstacles which may interfere with the
signal path.
Inspect or replace the batteries (E 5).
Make sure batteries are inserted correctly (E 5).
Correction
Set the VCR/TV selector to "TV" (P. 12 or 14).
Check VCR hook ups (R 6-7 or 34-37).
Insert the cassette with the window side up and the
record tab facing you.
Make sure a cassette tape is not already inserted.
Press STOP/EJECT button on VCR.
Check that the power plug is completely connected
to a standard AC household outlet.
Check the cassette to be sure that the record tab on
the back of the cassette is still intact (E 5).
To enable quick play mechanism the cylinder will
rotate for about 5 minutes. This is normal.
