• The VCR will stay in Repeat Play mode until you cancel Repeat Play mode.
To do this, follow steps 1 - 2 under Repeat Playback above. At step 3, press .
the Number 2 button so that OFF appears to the right of REPEAT PLAY
Press the STATUS/EXIT button to exit.
• The time counter memory does not function when the VCR is in Repeat Play mode.
• You can exit Time Search mode bypressing the TIMESEARCHbutton again.
• To cancel the Time Search when the VCR is fast forwarding or rewinding, press the •
STOP button.
Repeat Playback
Follow the steps below to program the
VCR to play a tape over and over.

Press the MENU button to bring up the
main menu display.

Press the Number 2 button to select VCR
SET UR

Press the Number 2 button to select
REPEAT PLAY. ON will appear to the
right of REPEAT PLAY on-screen.

Press the STATUS/EXIT button to exit.
Now, when a tape has finished playing, the
VCR will rewind it and start playback
again. (TV programming will appear while
the tape is rewinding.)
Time Search
Follow the steps below to program the VCR
• to search forward or backward a specific
length of time.
: While in Stop mode, press the TIME SEARCH
• button to bring up the time search display.

• Use the Number buttons to enter the desired
• length of time you want to skip forward or back-
ward. For example, for 1 hour, 25 minutes,
• press Number buttons 1, 2, 5. Or, for five min-
• utes, press Number buttons 0, 0, 5. (You must
• make an entry within 10 seconds of pressing
• the TIME SEARCH button. Otherwise, the
• VCR will exit Time Search mode.)

Within 10 seconds, press the F.FWD button or
the REW(ind) button to skip forward or back-
ward. The VCR will skip over the specified
length of time, then begin playback. (The time
counts down on-screen as the searching pro-
gresses.)
