STEP 5 Begin the pairing procedure on your Bluetooth
®
phone
(see the phone owner’s manual for instructions).
STEP 6 On the pairing screen on your phone, select “Ford
Work Solutions” to proceed.
STEP 7 Enter the system-generated PIN on your phone. The
system will attempt to create a secure connection.
This may take a few minutes.
STEP 8 Once the connection is created, the FWS screen will
say “Pairing Successful.”
STEP 9 The confirmation screen will time out after five
seconds, and you will see your phone on the list of
paired phones.
If you receive a message stating “Pairing Failed,” begin the
pairing process again. Ensure that your phone’s Bluetooth
®
feature is turned on and that your phone is compatible with
the in-dash computer.
Phone / Device Properties
Once your phone or device is paired with the system, the Properties
screen allows you to adjust connection settings. An example Properties
screen is shown on the following page.
