Manual Addendum CSW2012-HX

Addendum for use with CSW2012-HX
The CSW1012-HX comes with hardwire AC Input and hardwire AC Output cable
with a Display Port for Remote Display. An Ignition Start Port is added to control
the unit ON and OFF by using an external signal and the USB output port is
removed. Other feature and function are the same as the CSW2012-X.
Use the following section to understand the unit’s features of CSW2012-HX in
replace of 1.1 Features” on page 1 and 2 of the CSW2012-X Owner’s Manual.
CSW2012-HX
1.1 Features
The front panel of the CSW2012-HX inverter is equipped with the following
features (see Figure below):
1. Serial Number the unique identification number assigned to each unit
(with a model-specific prefix). Note: Enter your inverter’s serial number in
the table at the bottom of page i. It is to easier to record this information
now, instead of trying to gather it after the unit has been installed.
2. Display Port used to connect a remote display that shows the inverter’s
measured battery voltage, total AC output power, and any error or warning
codes. This display has LEDs that provide the inverter’s status, and also
includes the SELECT and POWER button switches used to set up and turn
the inverter on and off (See Section 3.3).
3. Ignition Start Port - An Ignition Start Port is added to control the unit ON
and OFF by connecting it to the ignition start pins on the vehicles (+12 to
turn unit ON and not connected to turn unit OFF).
4. AC Output Circuit Breaker this supplementary 20-amp circuit breaker
protects the unit’s output which limits the pass-thru (By-pass mode) current
of 20 amps. The circuit breaker pops out when it opens press in to reset.
5. AC Input Cable stripped end hard-wire cable from unit is used to directly
connect to a service/distribution panel (main panel) to be wired to the
inverter’s input.
6. AC Output Cable stripped end hard wire cable from unit is used to directly
connect a dedicated panel (sub-panel) to be connected between the
inverter’s output wiring and the AC loads.
CAUTION: The inverter’s internal AC transfer relay is rated for 20
amps. The pass-thru current from the AC Input to the AC Output
terminals must be no greater than 20 amps or damage to the
internal relay may occur.
