SETUP
3. Installation/Configuration
Note: Before installing the DSP6001, you should become familiar with
the front and rear panels, as outlined in Chapter 2–Controls.
3.1 POWERING UP THE DSP6001
WARNING! TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, MAKE
SURE THE DSP6001 IS EARTH GROUNDED BEFORE
STARTING!
3.1.1 Setting Unit for Line VoLtage
The DSP6001 will operate with either of the following power sources:
• 120V50/60Hz
• 240V50/60Hz
1. Find the line cord receptacle on rear panel. The line cord is a detachable NEMA Standard
3 wire.
2. Make sure the selector matches the power source (numbers should match the line
voltage).
If not:
• Locatethepowerentrymodule.
• Removethelinecord.
• Insertascrewdriverintotheslotandopenthecover.
• Slidethevoltageselectorsothedesiredlinevoltageappearsinthewindow.
• Installtheappropriatefusesforthatvoltage.
