Before first use OPERATION • Remove all packaging materials and/or other transportation means. • Check package content to verify it is complete and undamaged. Do not operate the appliance if the content is incomplete or appears damaged. Return it immediately to Walmart. Danger of suffocation! -- Packaging materials are not toys. Always keep plastic bags, foils and foam parts away from babies and children. Packaging material could block airways and prevent breathing.
Brewing WARNING: -- During use, the appliance produces hot steam. Keep clear of the area above the appliance at all times. -- Do not open the lid (1) or keep the lid opened during use (ill. l) -- Do not touch the appliance housing during use (ill. m). -- During operation, the warming plate (8) will start to heat up and remain on until the appliance is switched off. Never touch the warming plate (8) during use or remove accessories when the appliance is plugged in and switched on (ill. o).
NOTE: -- Do not immerse the power cord with plug (6) and appliance into water or any other liquids (ill. r). -- Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads (ill. s). Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning, before using or storing the appliance. Ensure that no water enters the appliance. • Clean the appliance and keep warm plate (8) with a clean, slightly damp cloth. • Clean the carafe (14), filter basket (10) in hot, soapy water.
