Advice for
firefighters
Material is non-combustible and is not expected to pose a fire or explosion
hazard.
The decomposition products from this material are those that would be expected
from
any organic (carbon-containing) material, and are mainly derived from pyrolysis,
or
burning, of the polymer. These decomposition products may include carbon
dioxide,
carbon monoxide, carbon particles, hydrocarbons, chlorine, hydrogen,
chloride,
phosgene, and formaldehyde. This product should not be burned as
construction
waste.
Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus
(SCBA).
Structural firefighters' protective clothing will only provide limited
protection.
Do not release chemically contaminated water into drains, soil or surface
water.
