NOTICE: This one inch maximum not only includes the
decorative fi nish materials (marble, tile, slate, etc) but also
the thin set, lath and adhesive used to attach the decorative
fi nish material.
WARNING! Risk of Fire! DO NOT apply combustible
materials beyond the minimum clearances. Comply with
all minimum clearances to combustibles as specifi ed in
this manual. Overlapping materials could ignite.
Clean Face Trim Front (CFT)

Non-Combustible Finish Materials
1. Verify that factory-installed fi nishing guards are in-
stalled to ensure fi nishing material does not extend
into the fi replace opening. See Figure 10.2 and 10.3.
2. The non-combustible fi nish material, 0-1 inch thick,
should be installed up to the fi replace opening on all
four sides, including the bottom access panel, cover-
ing the rectangular holes. Refer to Figure 10.4 for
minimum fi nished opening dimensions.
WARNING! Risk of Fire! DO NOT apply fi nishing mate-
rial beyond the fi nishing guard. Appliance will overheat if
fi nishing material extends into appliance opening.
NOTICE: Decorative front will not fi t properly if fi nishing
material is applied beyond the fi nishing guard.
4. Follow Overlap Fit section of the instructions provided
with decorative front.

Note: When a Clean Face Trim decorative front is
installed, the rectangular holes in bottom access panel
will be covered.
B. Decorative Fronts
WARNING! Risk of Burns! A decorative front is required
for this model. DO NOT operate this appliance without a
decorative front in place.
Note: See appliance Owner’s Manual for TV mounting
guidelines.
Only decorative fronts certifi ed for use with this appliance
model may be used. Contact your dealer for a list of deco-
rative fronts that may be used.
The doors approved for use with this appliance have been
designed to be installed by two methods: Overlap Fit or
Inside Fit. Before beginning the installation, it is important
to determine with method will be used.
