skin irritation.

operation.

NOTE: Before beginning the log installation the grate must be positioned correctly. It must be placed behind the grate

retainer tabs on the left and right side of the burner assembly. The rear grate legs slide into the gaps on the left and right

side of the burner assembly and must be forced down into place. Once the rear grate legs are in place, the grate should

be pulled forward until fully engaged with the grate retainers on both sides. Failure to place grate correctly will result in

diminished ame appearance and sooting. See Figure 1.

1. Locate the two log pins provided in the homeowner’s manual package shipped with the appliance. Install the two log pins on top of the rear burner cover using the screws in the rear burner cover. 2. Install log #1 on the right rear pin. This log also has a notch to fit over the grate as shown in Figure 2. 3. Install log #2 on the middle pin with the log angled to the left. See Figure 3. 6. Note the V-shaped grooves on the bottom of Log #5. Set Log #5 on the two front left side grate tines at an angle from front right to rear left as shown in Figure 6. Move the log until the grate tines engage with the V-shaped grooves on the bottom of the log. When properly placed the two front logs will contact in the center and angle back toward the rear of the burner assembly. The left rear of Log #5 will rest on the burner tube bracket. 7.
