9.3 Tests and approvals
The vacuum cleaners have
been tested as specified in IEC/
EN 60335-2-69 including ap-
pendix AA. All the requirements
were fulfilled for equipment in
dust class L.
The vacuum cleaners must be
inspected regularly in accord-
ance with national accident
prevention regulations (in Ger-
many as specified in VBG 4 and
DIN VDE 0701 Part 1 and Part
3, at regular intervals and after
repairs or modifications).
A dust test must be performed
at least once every year by
the manufacturer or a trained
person. This test covers,
for example, whether there
is damage to the filter, the
vacuum cleaner is sealed to
the air and the control equip-
ment works properly.
