FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before adjusting or checking function on
the tool.

CAUTION:
Before plugging in the tool, always check to see
that the tool is switched off.
Switch can be locked in "ON" position for ease of
operator comfort during extended use. Apply
caution when locking tool in "ON" position and
maintain firm grasp on tool.
To start the tool, slide the slide switch forward. To stop
the tool, slide it backward.

CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before carrying out any work on the tool.

To install the abrasive paper, pull back on the lever clip to
open the paper clamp. Insert the paper end between the
base and the paper clamp. Center the paper and align
the edges parallel to the pad, then release the lever clip
to secure the paper. (Prebending paper makes
attachment easier.)
Repeat the same process for the other end of the base,
maintaining the proper paper tension.
OPERATION

CAUTION:
Never run the tool without the abrasive paper. You
may seriously damage the pad.
Never force the tool. Excessive pressure may
decrease the sanding efficiency, damage the
abrasive paper or shorten tool life.
Hold the tool firmly. Turn the tool on and wait until it
attains full speed. Then gently place the tool on the
workpiece surface. Keep the pad flush with the
workpiece and apply slight pressure on the tool.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before attempting to perform inspection
or maintenance.
Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the
like. Discoloration, deformation or cracks may
result.
