reliability. All the receivers are fully tested and conform to all current safety standards. Each unit comes with a full 12 months warranty and all the receivers are individually certiﬁ cated. The range is backed up

by an excellent spares and after sales service.

We are often asked for advice from customers when choosing a compressor. Our two main pieces of advice are ﬁ rstly, always look at the free air delivered by the compressor, not the piston displacement and,

secondly make sure that the output of the compressor exceeds the consumption of the tool or tools. Some manufacturers quote just the piston displacement and this can mislead the unwary into believing

they are purchasing a compressor with a larger capability than they are actually getting. Provided that the free air delivery from the compressor exceeds the requirement of the air tool you should not have the

problem of running out of air halfway through a job. The alternative, of course, is to buy the biggest compressor at the outset on the basis that you will then have sufﬁ cient capacity for larger tools in the future.

Air Compressors

A small, direct drive, oil lubricated, ducted air cooled, portable

compressor. Great in the workshop or around the home for low

volume air tools such as air staplers and nailers, air brush painting,

occasional tyre inﬂ ation etc. Quite a robust little unit with a cast

iron cylinder for long life. Twin pressure gauges monitor receiver

and output pressures. Supplied with four rubber feet, top grab

handle for easy mobility, output pressure control valve and a 1/4”

BSP female quick release ﬁ tting.

Axminster Air

AWC10HP Compressor

The AWC20HP is an economically priced single cylinder oil lubricated unit with a 1.4kW high

efﬁ ciency motor. The cast iron pump cylinder provides long term durability. Producing 5cfm @ 40 psi

and 4cfm @ 90 psi compressed air delivery into a 24 litres air receiver. Fitted with wheels and a grab

handle for easy mobility. Receiver and outlet pressure gauges are ﬁ tted along with an outlet pressure

regulator. It is suitable for a whole range of general workshop uses such as small size nailing and

stapling, riveting, greasing, dusting, tyre inﬂ ation, airbrushing and touch-up spraying. The only jobs

which are beyond its capabilities are the use of the larger continuously running tools such as sanders,

drills and polishers, all of which will need a more powerful compressor coupled to a larger capacity

tank. The outlet is ﬁ tted with a 1/4” BSP female quick release ﬁ tting.

Air Compressors Axminster Air AWC30HP Compressor A compact yet powerful unit, the AWC30HP, features a twin cast iron cylinder oil lubricated and ducted air cooled pump, which is directly driven by a 2.2kW motor. The 50 litre tank is very quickly re-charged and has a variable output pressure regulating valve and gauges for monitoring output pressure and tank pressure. The noise level is noticeably unobtrusive and subdued so should not annoy any neighbours.
