5.CARBURETOR DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY

This engine is equipped with a diaphragm type CARBURETOR.

1)Function and structure of the diaphragm system.

Since the fuel level is kept constant, in spite of any tilt angle of the engine, it can be operated at

any position. The float chamber is provided with a diaphragm and covered by a cover. Negative pressure

in the air intake passage causes the diaphragm to swell upward and thereby pushing up the hinge to open

the valve. Upon the disapperance of the negative pressure, the valve is closed by the spring pressure.

Then the fuel flow rate can be controlled by marking an appropriate determination of the diaphragm area

and spring pressure.
