When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. 27. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

Make sure that the shaft lock is released before the switch is turned on. Always use with the shoe securely attached to the tool and positioned flat and firmly against the workpiece. Hold the tool firmly. Do not perform any operation using your hands to support or guide the workpiece.

To remove the bit, follow the installation procedure in reverse. Switch action • CAUTION: Before installing the battery cartridge into the tool, always check to see that the slide switch actuates properly and returns to the "OFF" position when the rear of the slide switch is depressed. Shoe 1 014858 When cutting straight line, clamp a straight board firmly to the material and use it as a guide. Move the tool in the direction of the arrow with the shoe base flush with the side of the guide board. When the cut is complete, turn the tool off and wait for the bit to stop rotating and then carefully remove it from the material.

Avant d'utiliser la batterie, lisez toutes les instructions et précautions relatives (1) au chargeur de batterie, (2) à la batterie, et (3) à l'outil utilisant la batterie. 2. • En surcharge : L'outil est utilisé d'une manière entraînant une consommation anormale de courant. Si une telle situation se présente, mettez l’outil hors tension et cessez l’application ayant provoqué la surcharge de l’outil. Mettez ensuite l’outil en position de marche pour le redémarrer. Si l’outil ne démarre pas, il y a surchauffe de la batterie. Si tel est le cas, laissez la batterie refroidir avant de remettre l’outil en marche.
Changer le cône du mandrin (varie en fonction du pays) 1. Interrupteur à glissière 1 • • 014856 ATTENTION: Utilisez la bonne dimension de cône de mandrin pour la fraise que vous désirez utiliser. Ne serrez pas l'écrou du mandrin sans installer une fraise, car le cône du mandrin risque de se briser. Pour démarrer l’outil, faites glisser l'interrupteur à glissière sur la position "I" (marche). Pour un fonctionnement continu, appuyez sur l'avant de l'interrupteur à glissière pour le verrouiller.
014858 014871 Pour les coupes en ligne droite, fixez solidement une pièce de bois rectiligne à la pièce à travailler et utilisezla comme guide. Déplacez l'outil dans le sens de la flèche, en gardant la base du support d'affleurage horizontal parfaitement alignée sur le côté de la pièce de bois qui sert de guide. Une fois la coupe terminée, mettez l'outil hors tension et attendez que la fraise cesse de tourner, puis retirez-la doucement du matériau.

Para instalar la broca, colóquela en el cono de sujeción tanto como sea posible y luego apriete la tuerca de sujeción con la zapata para usarla como una llave. Para retirar la broca, siga el proceso inverso al de instalación.
Alinee las proyecciones en la guía circular con los dientes en la zapata y fíjela junto con la guía circular con el tornillo manual. Apretar 014867 Al usar la broca multiusos en el material, sostenga la herramienta a un ángulo de 45° aproximadamente con el borde de la base de la zapata haciendo contacto con el material.
Cubierta de la aspiradora (accesorio opcional) MANTENIMIENTO Para realizar operaciones de limpieza, use la cubierta de la aspiradora y conecte la herramienta a una aspiradora Makita o recolector de polvo. 1 • 1.
