ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the
battery cartridge is removed before carrying out any
workonthetool.

Fordebrisblowing,attachgardennozzletobloweroutlet,
turningclockwisetolockitinplace.
Toremovethegardennozzle,turnitcounterclockwise.
OPERATION
Blowing (Fig. 5)
Hold the blower rmly with a hand and perform the
blowingoperationbymovingitaroundslowly.
Whenblowingaroundabuilding,abigstoneoravehicle,
directthenozzleawayfromthem.
Whenperformingan operation in corner,startfrom the
cornerandthenmovetowidearea.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the
battery cartridge is removed before attempting to
performinspectionormaintenance.
• Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the
like.Discoloration,deformationorcracksmayresult.
Cleaning (Fig. 6)
Fromtimetotime,wipeofftheoutsideofthetoolusinga
clothdampenedinsoapywater.
To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs,anyothermaintenanceoradjustmentshouldbe
performedbyMakitaAuthorizedServiceCenters,always
usingMakitareplacementparts.
