Personal Safety 1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. 2. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection.
3. 4. Follow instruction for lubricating and changing accessories. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
. 6. 7. 8. 9. Do not use dull or damaged blades. Unsharpened or improperly set blades produce narrow kerf causing excessive friction, blade binding and kickback. Blade depth and bevel adjusting locking levers must be tight and secure before making the cut. If blade adjustment shifts while cutting, it may cause binding and kickback. Use extra caution when sawing into existing walls or other blind areas. The protruding blade may cut objects that can cause kickback.
Important safety instructions for battery cartridge 1. 2. 3. 4. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. Some material contains chemicals which may be toxic. Take caution to prevent dust inhalation and skin contact. Follow material supplier safety data. Do not stop the blades by lateral pressure on the saw blade. Do not use any abrasive wheels. Only use the saw blade with the diameter that is marked on the tool or specified in the manual.
Tips for maintaining maximum battery life 1. 2. 3. 4. 21. Charge the battery cartridge before completely discharged. Always stop tool operation and charge the battery cartridge when you notice less tool power. Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge. Overcharging shortens the battery service life. Charge the battery cartridge with room temperature at 10 °C - 40 °C (50 °F - 104 °F). Let a hot battery cartridge cool down before charging it.
Overheat protection 1 When the tool is overheated, the tool stops automatically, and the battery indicator blink about 60 seconds. In this situation, let the tool cool down before turning the tool on again. On Blinking Overdischarge protection 2 When the battery capacity becomes low, the tool stops automatically. If the product does not operate even when the switches are operated, remove the batteries from the tool and charge the batteries. 3 Indicating the remaining battery capacity 4 1 ► 1 .
