To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the tool while sliding the button on the front of the cartridge. NOTE: Depending on the conditions of use and the ambient temperature, the indication may differ slightly from the actual capacity. To install the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click.
Switch action NOTE: When the tool is overheated, the tool stops automatically and the lamp starts flashing. In this case, release the switch trigger. The lamp turns off in one minute. Screwdriving operation Drilling operation First, turn the action mode changing ring so that the arrow points to the marking. Then proceed as follows. CAUTION: Adjust the adjusting ring to the proper torque level for your work. CAUTION: Make sure that the driver bit is inserted straight in the screw head, or the screw and/or driver bit may be damaged. Drilling in wood First, turn the action mode changing ring so that the arrow on the tool body points to the marking.

Turn the tool on and then apply the wheel or disc to the workpiece. In general, keep the edge of the wheel or disc at an angle of about 15 degrees to the workpiece surface. During the break-in period with a new wheel, do not work the grinder in the B direction or it will cut into the workpiece.
When using wire wheel brush, avoid applying too much pressure which causes over bending of wires, leading to premature breakage. Operation with wire cup brush (optional accessory) • • CAUTION: Check operation of brush by running tool with no load, insuring that no one is in front of or in line with brush. Do not use brush that is damaged, or which is out of balance. Use of damaged brush could increase potential for injury from contact with broken brush wires. MAINTENANCE • 1.
Your tool is supplied with a guard for use with a depressed center grinding wheel, multi-disc and wire wheel brush. A diamond wheel and cut-off wheel are also available and should only be used with the appropriate optional guard for cutoff wheels. OPERACIÓN • • • • • • • • ADVERTENCIA: No deberá ser nunca necesario forzar la herramienta. El peso de la herramienta aplica la presión adecuada . El forzamiento y la presión excesivos podrán ocasionar una peligrosa rotura del disco. Reemplace el disco SIEMPRE si deja caer la herramienta durante el esmerilado. No lance ni golpee NUNCA el disco de esmerilar u otros discos contra la pieza de trabajo. Evite los rebotes y enganches del disco, especialmente cuando trabaje esquinas, bordes agudos, etc.
Retire el cartucho de la batería de la herramienta y colóquela boca arriba para permitir un fácil acceso al eje. Coloque la brida interior y el disco de corte abrasivo / disco de diamante en el eje. Apriete la contratuerca con firmeza con la llave incluida. La orientación en la instalación para la contratuerca y la brida interior varía en función del grosor del disco.
