Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION Before using battery cartridge, read all instructions and cautionary markings on (1) battery charger, (2) battery, and (3) product using battery. Do not disassemble battery cartridge. If operating time has become excessively shorter, stop operating immediately. It may result in a risk of overheating, possible burns and even an explosion.

Reversing switch action CAUTION: Always check the direction of rotation before operation. CAUTION: Use the reversing switch only after the tool comes to a complete stop. Changing the direction of rotation before the tool stops may damage the tool. CAUTION: When not operating the tool, always set the reversing switch lever to the neutral position.
