• Holds more finish for

“thirsty” woods or heavier

Thank you for purchasing MāKRS Stain Pad. We are proud to provide you with the only

wood finish applicator designed by woodworkers, specifically for fine, wood finishing.

Please note, this is not a rag. Our applicators are like any other tool in your shop; they

must be used properly to get the best results.

Choose your applicator size. The chart below will help you select the

applicator that is best for your project.

2. CUT

Cut your applicator to desired size. Each pad will provide six, 2.7 inch by 3

inch applicators, or eight 2 inch x 3 inch applicators.

1. Open resealable bag from

the bottom

2. Size applicator to project

or can opening

3. Cut to desired size

(Cutting guide provided below)

4. Store remaining pads in

resealable bag

INSTRUCTIONS (cont.): 3. CLEAN  WARNING WARNING WARNING  The following steps should always be done outside, away from ANY and ALL combustibles. Do NOT attempt on a pad that has been exposed to any finish (even water based). Only clean, dry, unused pads can be prepared in this way. REMEMBER Explosive fumes can spread, never bring ignition sources into your shop. The singeing process is quick. The pad should never touch the flame and should not be exposed to heat long enough to change color. 4. USE 1.
