•Connect the positive cable of the battery to the screw marked + and the negative one to the screw marked S.

1) Check for continuity of the

grey cable between the fuel level sensor and the level indicator (2) by means of a tester
set to OHM. Also check for continuity of the

red cable fitted into the (

+ ) terminal of the level indicator with the

cable fitted into the key switch connector by means of a tester set to OHM.
2) Further check that the
blackblack
blackblack
black cable fitted into the fuel feeler connector and the indicator terminal are properly
earthed.
3) Check fuel level sensor (or feeler).
4) Take off the two-way connector from the sensor.
5) With a wire, “bridge” the harness connector: if the needle moves to 4/4, replace the feeler.

• Porter le câble positif de la batterie sur la vis marquée du symbole + et le câble négatif sur la vis marquée du
symbole S.

1) Avec le testeur (en position OHM), vérifier la continuité du câble

l’indicateur de niveau (2).
Vérifier avec le testeur (en position OHM) la continuité du câble

rouge inséré dans la borne positive (

l’indicateur de niveau et le câble

bleu inséré dans le connecteur du commutateur à clé.
2) Vérifier également l’existence de la masse au câble

noir inséré dans le connecteur de la sonde du carburant et à
la borne de masse de l’instrument.
3) Contrôler le capteur (ou la sonde) de niveau du carburant.
4) Détacher le connecteur 2 voies du capteur.
5) Utiliser un câble et “ponter” sur le connecteur du câblage: si l’aiguille de l’indicateur se positionne sur 4/4, remplacer
la sonde.

• Llevar el cable positivo de la batería en el tornillo marcado con el símbolo + y el cable negativo en el tornillo marcado
con el símbolo S.

1) Con el tester (en pos. OHM) verificar la continuidad del cable

gris entre el detector de nivel de carburante y el
indicador de nivel (2).
Verificar con el tester (en pos. OHM) la continuidad del cable

rojo puesto en el borne positivo (

+ ) del indicador de
nivel y el cable

azul en el conectador del conmutador de llave.
2) Verificar también la existencia de la tierra en el cable
negronegro

negro puesto en el conectador de la sonda del carburante
y en el borne de tierra del instrumento.
3) Controlar el detector (o la sonda) del nivel de carburante.
4) Separar el conectador de 2 vías del detector.
5) Utilizar un cable y “puentear” sobre el conectador del cableado: si la aguja del indicador se posiciona en
4/4, substituir la sonda.
