since you need at least two of these products to network through the AC power line. Each starter kit includes two
HomePlug Ethernet Bridges.

you to create a high-speed computer network in your home or
offi ce. Simply plug the bridges into any electrical outlet, and you
immediately create a network using the existing AC power lines.
This technology is ideal when using network patch cable or
wireless technology is not practical. Think of it as “Ethernet over
Power”, as the data is transmitted over the AC power lines.
