By improving your computer’s desktop arrangements and extending the visual work area across dual monitors, this converter helps make word processing, editing and multi-tasking more effective with less overlapped windows, fewer hidden palettes and better-organized views. Read e-mail on one monitor and open attachments on the other. Large, complicated spreadsheets can be expanded and viewed without scrolling.

USB-VGA (Primary) This sets the display attached to the adapter to be the primary, or active, display. USB-VGA (Extended) Extends the desktop to the display attached to the adapter. This option allows the user to use two displays as a single desktop.
USB-VGA (Off) Disconnects the display attached to the adapter. USB-VGA (Mirror) The display attached to the adapter will duplicate, or mirror, what is being displayed on the primary display. Resolution Resolution will set the resolution that the display will use. The most common resolutions are listed, and a secondary list of high resolutions can be brought up by clicking on the “High Resolution” drop-down menu. The resolutions are listed by width x height x 16- or 32bit color.
