INSTRUCTIONS

1. Select the DC plug tip that ts into your portable device

and connect it to the output cable of the power adapter.

2. With the proper DC plug tip in place, connect the power

adapter to your portable device. (It’s recommended that

the portable device be turned off.)

3. Position the adapter’s voltage switch to the appropriate

setting.

4. Plug the adapter into a power outlet and check that the

red LED is lit.

5. Read the Operating Cautions on the back of this sheet,

then turn on the portable device.

To use the MANHATTAN Power Adapter in conjunction with

an EmPower connection commonly offered by airlines (see

sample list on the back of this sheet):

• Press down on the latch on the DC input cable, as shown.

• Gently pull the two sections of the input cable apart.

• Plug the now-exposed EmPower connector into the

compatible DC output connector at hand.
