Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION Read all instructions before assembly. To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive surface such as carpet or cardboard. Inspect each part for defects that may have occurred during shipping. Keep your receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase. NOTE: This light fixture requires the use of one 120V, 60Hz, 60-Watt max, medium-base type A bulb (not included). Do not exceed the recommended wattage.

Assembly Installation 1 1 Assembling the light fixture Carefully unpack the fixture and lay out all parts on clean surface. Installing the mounting plate CAUTION: Ensure the power is off at the main fuse box prior to beginning installation. Determine how many extension tubes you would like to use. The numbers of tubes you use depends on the length you desire for the installed light fixture. Feed the fixture wires up through the 12" tubes (E), the 6" tube (D).
Installation (continued) 2 Connecting the wires 3 Hanging the light fixture Install the fixture bare ground wire (1) under the ground screw (EE) on the mounting plate (BB). Push all excess wires into the outlet box. Connect the fixture bare ground wire (1) to the green (or bare, or green & yellow )supply ground wire (2) in the outlet box using a wire nut (AA). Raise the canopy (A) to the ceiling and secure in place by screwing the two finials (GG) to the nipples of the mounting screws (DD) .
Installation (continued) 4 Installing the bulb & assembling glass shade Prior to installing the bulb, inspect socket for silica packet. If packet is present, then remove and throw away. Do not expose it to children or pets. Install one 120V, 60Hz, 60-watt max., medium-base, type A bulb (not included) into the socket of fixture body. Cup Socket Secure the glass shade (G) to bottom of the cup by twisting it. Bulb (Not included) G Care and Cleaning □ Clean the light fixture with a soft, dry cloth.
