MantelCraft Mantels are so easy to install!

E-Z FIT MANTEL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Make sure your oor is clean, then turn the mantel breast

assembly upside down on the oor as shown below.

Slide the legs into the mantel breast assembly.

The metal dowel pins in the legs t into holes

in the mantel header.

NOTE: Bridgewater Mantel does not have dowel pins

or cam locks. The legs screw to the breast assembly

Cam Lock Fastening System

NOTE: When installing a Victorian, Colonial, Princeton or

Charleston mantel, we recommend an additional scab

block be added to the back of the leg and header,

glued and screwed in place for added leg strength.

Bridgewater Mantel legs are held with screws.

With a screwdriver, turn the Cams clockwise

until they stop and legs are locked in place.

You are now ready to install the mantel.

After you have assembled your mantel, place it on the wall where it will be permanently positioned. Lightly outline the mantel on the wall as shown. Then move the mantel to the side. STEP 4 Install the mounting strips inside your lines 3/4”. Secure mounting strips to the wall by nails, screws, and construction adhesive. STEP 5 OUTLINE THE MANTEL INSTALL MOUNTRING STRIP INSIDE OF LINES Use a construction adhesive on the mounting strip before putting the mantel on the wall.
